Add a product to a wishlist from anywhere

At any time your customers can add a product to their wishlist from any product card.

Getting Started

Wonder Wishlist allows your customers to create one or multiple wishlists and offer them a collaborative purchase environment thanks to the share  feature.

Installing the app

1. Go to the Shopify App Store

2. Install the app

3. Access it through the "Apps" section of your Shopify Store

To get started with the app you’ll have a 15 day trial period. 

You can get 3 additional months of support by filling this form

There is only one available plan for now (more plans with more features will be available soon)

Get familiar with Wonder WishList

Once you're done with the Setup Wizard, go to Wonder WishlistGetting Started page. 
Follow the mini-tutorials to get familiar with the app. 

Setting up the app with the Setup Wizard

The Setup Wizard installer helps you integrate the app by guiding you through all configuration steps.

Go to Wonder WishlistSet-Up Wizard

Updating the product-cart.liquid template (mandatory)

The product-card.liquid template must be updated with a small code snippet  so that the add to wishlist button display on the product cards.

Here is the snippet to add:

1. Click on the Apply the snippet

2. The theme editor opens, on the product-cart.liquid page displays

3. Copy and paste the snippet in the template just after the price or the add to cart render block.

4. Click on Save or press Ctrl + S

Step template is updated

Enable the wishlist app embed block (mandatory)

In order for Wonder Wishlist to work, you need to enable the app block. 

1. In the 2nd step click on Activate the app block

2. In the new window that opened the Wonder Wishlist app block has been activated automatically

   

3. Click on Save at the top right corner of the window

The app embed block is activated

Add the “add to wishlist” button to the product pages (optional)

To add the Add to wishlist button to the product pages:

1. In the 3rd step click on Add the app block

2. The app block is automatically added

   

3. Click on Save at the top right corner of the popup window

The Add to wishlist icon is now displayed on the product pages. 

You can choose among 3 types of Wishlist CTA: icon, text, or button. All kinds of CTA can be customized with custom colors and texts. You can even create you own implementation. Get in touch with our support team to get more insights.

Add the “add to wishlist” button to collection pages (optional)

To add the Add to wishlist button in collection pages:

1. In the 4th step click on Add the app block

2. The app block is automatically added

   

3. Click on Save at the top right corner of the popup window

The Add to wishlist button is now displayed on the collection pages. 

Add a wishlist link to your menu (optional)

To add the Wishlist entry to your store menu

1. In the 4th step click on Add the app block to the menu

2. The app block is automatically added

   

3. Click on Save at the top right corner of the popup window

The Wishlist entry is now displayed in the menu

The Wishlist entry may need to be repositioned manually with some themes by moving the block to the header section instead of the Apps section.

Create a wishlist page (strongly recommended)

We strongly recommend using our ready-made Wishlist page to offer your customers a seamless experience with their wishlists.

This step is automatic and doesn't require any action from your end.
If you want to create your own implementation of the Wishlist page, please contact our support team.

Configure your app settings

In the Configuration section of the application, you are able to choose different settings.

Enable Multi-wishlist feature

You can allow your customers to create multiple wishlists.

1. Go to ConfigurationSettings

2. Tick the box Enable multi-wishlist feature

3. Click Save

Once enabled, you can enter the maximum number of wishlists you want your customers to be able to create, between 2 and 9.

Enable Integration with Klaviyo

The application can be integrated with Klaviyo to send emails to wishlist owners and owner’s friends.

1. In Configurationsettings

2. Tick the box Enable integration with Klaviyo

3. Enter the Klaviyo API public key

4. Enter the klaviyo event name that will appear in Klaviyo’s metrics

5. Enter the email property for the Klaviyo test event

6. You can send a test event to Klaviyo to test your settings

7. Click Save

In the configuration section, you can fully personalize the application with your own texts and for each languages.
